This book is one I long to have on my shelf. Every Day’s a Holiday is a solid five stars for me. Small children struggle with waiting for their birthday and this book gives them another tool to use. I love books that provide social emotional tools.

Winnie wants every day to be her birthday. Her wise mother quickly comes up with a plan. She finds something for Winnie to celebrate each day. Winnie falls in love with this new tradition and learns of new places, foods, and careers. 

I have a similar tradition with my kiddos. I have a calendar that helps us celebrate something every day. The calendar lives on my fridge so I can find something small to learn about or enjoy each day. I read books , watch YouTube videos, and eat yummy food. Make every day fun and add in a new read aloud.
